God is troubling embattled Bishop T.D. Jakes' waters because it is reckoning time for him, according to Hollywood insider, whistleblower and comedian Katt Williams.

During an explicit interview with former NFL superstar Shannon Sharpe, Williams said that all "deviants" including Combs and T.D. Jakes will be uncovered by the truth in 2024. "It's up for all of them ... all lies will be exposed," he said.

Jakes is fighting a public relations war against unproven allegations that he participated in salacious acts at entertainment industry sex parties hosted by Bad Boy Entertainment's founder and CEO Sean "Diddy" Combs.

That does not mean that all of Jakes' messages should be thrown out, according to one Christian.

Sheila Jackson, who holds a doctorate in nursing and pays her tithes told The Christian Commander that while Dallas-based Jakes fits into the "Prosperity Gospel" preacher category, it would be a mistake for anyone to get distracted by the moral scandal swirling around him.

She speaks on authority, having once left a church because of her former pastor's indiscretions only to later regret leaving because his messages often helped her and still resonate. She was not a member of Jakes' church.

Jackson's message to me was that if Jakes' inspiring talks carried the truth of God in them then they should not be forgotten because of his controversies.

It is a biblical fact that God Almighty uses whosoever He will in order to achieve His purposes. He used Moses who was a murderer to plead the children of Israel's cause to Pharoah before He delivered them out of bondage in Egypt.

Babylon's pagan king Nebuchadnezzar was God's "servant" sent to conquer Jerusalem because of the Israelites' disobedience. (Jeremiah 25:9)

If one of Jakes' sermons was true to the Word of God and helped turn your life around then do not kill the message, according to Jackson.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Bishop Jakes was forced to defend the fact that he had indeed attended his close friend and hip hop mogul Combs' parties. Multiple entertainers, celebrities and insiders including Williams have discussed Combs' penchant for lavish Hollywood A-list galas that are often replete with acts of sexual immorality.

Last November Combs was named in a lawsuit brought by his ex-girlfriend and former artist Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura alleging sexual and mental abuse. His lawyers announced a settlement one day later for an undisclosed amount.

The Jakes organization denied any wrongdoing.

"Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless," Jordan A. Hora, executive director of public relations and communications for the T.D. Jakes Group, T.D. Jakes Ministries and The Potter's House told The Christian Post.

In an emotional message during a service last December Jakes told his church members that he could feel their concern. "He that is with me is more than all those that are against me. I'm fine," he said. "We're not going to let the devil take over our service. You can't do this fifty years and ain't been in a fight, haven't been in a storm, haven't been under attack. I'm fine."

The Pentecostal preacher has served as Diddy's spiritual advisor according to Combs. The two were filmed together during a brief and public photo opportunity while Diddy's head rested on Jakes' chest.

Jakes has been recognized as America's best preacher for over 20 years. He is also a televangelist, author, businessman and real estate developer.

He has been embroiled in a quarrel with Philadelphia's mega popular Pastor Gino Jennings who has called on Jakes to denounce homosexuality. The Bishop has so far refused.

According to Jennings, Jakes emailed him a warning stating that lawyers and the Federal Communications Commission could seek to remove his sermons from the airwaves. Jennings then invited Jakes to a public debate. Jakes has not yet accepted Jennings' offer.

Jakes is also known for permitting Atlanta-based film industry mogul Tyler Perry to lay a hand on him during a Sunday morning service at the Potter's House in 2013. Perry prayed for Jakes to be spiritually anointed and announced a $1 million dollar donation to the church's youth center.

Perry, speaking in tongues through a handheld microphone before touching Jakes said, "I pray right now that you will continue to do everything you're doing. I pray his anointing will stay upon you. I pray the power of God all over you. I pray his favor. I pray the blood of Jesus will come upon you right now."

Jakes' upper body appeared to spasm as Perry stepped back and watched the Bishop's body jerk.

Jennings later accused Jakes of playing to the cameras by vibrating his body as if he had been anointed with the Holy Spirit after Perry touched his forehead.

"An abomination laying his hand on a false prophet," Jennings said in describing the event. "A Christ-like man don't dress like a woman," he declared referring to Perry who is famous for performing his Madea character in films.

Madea is a brash, sometimes violent portrayal of a domineering Black woman. Perry wore women's dresses for the role.

Williams, who typically speaks out about what he calls Hollywood's agenda of forcing Black men to wear dresses before they can reach the next levels of fame and success, opines that Perry is a better character actor when draped in women's clothes than in men's.

Jennings alleges that Jakes, who is a celebrity pastor, is a role-playing "prosperity gospel" preacher who rarely preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Prosperity Gospel preachers include Paula White, Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar and several other lesser known televangelists. Celebrity pastors include Joel Osteen, as he is often labeled by mass media.

What do you think? Is Jakes being exposed or is he being smeared? Tell us in the comments.

My only comment is that he has very good sermons and teachings and has a gift for knowing the scriptures without reading. I pray that these are rumors.
