Fools Rush In: Yemen’s Houthi rebels claim attacks on Israel, many suspect Iran, widening the war

October 15, 2023, Sanaa, Yemen: Houthi rebels hold up Palestinian flags as they march in a show of solidarity with the Palestinians. Thousands of Muslim protesters poured onto the streets of several Middle East capitals, during that weekend, amid Israeli air strikes on Gaza in reprisal for a surprise Hamas attack that killed more than 1,300 people.

RIYADH (CC) - On Tuesday, Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed missile and drone attacks targeting Israel. But many experts and sources suspect Iran is responsible for the attacks, only to blame one of its Shiite Muslim proxies.

″Our armed forces launched a large batch of ballistic missiles and a large number of drones at various targets of the Israeli enemy,” Houthi military spokesman and wing man for Iran, Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said on TV.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that this operation is the third operation in support of our oppressed brothers in Palestine and confirm that we will continue to carry out more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression stops.”

Is it fool's gold to rush in to a war with Israel? Christians would answer, "Yes." The Holy Bible says that God will go to war to save Jerusalem from falling into the hands of its enemies.

The Houthis, since 2014, have been engaged in a brutal civil war in its own country, pitting Sunni and Shiite Muslims against each other in bone-crunching combat. The Sunni faction is supported by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Its sometimes adversary, the Islamic Republic of Iran has worked to build its Shia proxy network across the Middle East and Persian Gulf regions, ever since its 1979 Islamic Revolution that overthrew the Shah.

The surprise and revolutionary detente reached by Tehran and Riyadh, earlier this year, was mediated by China. Many experts said that the deal launched China into the realm of international vanguard for mediating peace among nations.

The Chinese have so far watched from the sidelines as the Israel-Hamas War has escalated since October 7.

In the same month, the US shot down projectiles targeting Israel over the Biblical Red Sea, today a critical shipping corridor. The Houthis were suspected of launching that attack.

Israel said its own fighter jets, and its Arrow missile defense system, shot down two different volleys of rocket fire headed for Eilat, a critical Red Sea port some 150 miles south of Jerusalem.

For Israelis, Tuesday’s attack proved to the international community that Arrow intercepts long-range ballistic missiles, with a warhead designed to destroy targets headed for the ancient Jewish homeland.

“All aerial threats were intercepted outside of Israeli territory,” the IDF said. “No infiltrations were identified into Israeli territory.”

Many experts and officials in the Us and Israel suspect Hamas, headed by Iran, attacked the Jewish homeland because the Saudis and Israelis were gaining ground on a normalization deal brokered by America.

Christians believe that only fools, who do not recognize the one true God, would rush in to attack Israel - the land where the Lord promised to put His name, And to also rescue Jerusalem at the Battle of Armageddon.

In any case, the war is widening instead of shrinking. Iran has sought the destruction of the ancient Jewish homeland for decades, believing that it should be wiped off the map.

The Houthis follow the Shiite Zaydi faith, a branch of Shiite Islam that is almost exclusively found in Yemen. The rebels’ slogan has long been: “God is the greatest; death to America; death to Israel; curse the Jews; victory to Islam.”

But “now they have the hard power to back it,” said Thomas Juneau, a professor at the University of Ottawa who has studied Yemen for years.

“It was just a matter of time before they would be able to do this,” Juneau said, noting the rebels’ steadily advancing missile program that came with Iranian assistance. “The fact that there’s another front directly to the south raises the risk that Arrow can be overwhelmed and then it can be that much more worrying” if Hezbollah, Hamas and others launch massive missile barrages.

“The warnings from Iran regarding the initial days of the Gaza civilian casualties highlighted a concern: if these atrocities were not halted, they could incite public outrage and exhaust the patience of the resistance movements,” the Iranian mission said. “These concerns can be averted and the responsibility lies squarely in the hands of the American administration to halt the transgressions perpetuated by the Israeli regime.”

With billions of dollars from America to fund ammunition against Israel, the Islamic Iranians are poised to meet the one true God.

The Lord God of Israel, Jesus Christ.

Yes. Wars and rumors of wars. The administration agrees that Israel has a right to defend itself but has called for cease fire to provide humanitarian aid. The war I believe, is expanding and I pray that our “on time” God will not allow a third world war.
