As Israel's Defense Force prepares to launch an all-out ground invasion of the Hamas terrorist-controlled Gaza Strip, the Holy Spirit is with them in this material world filled with so much support and so much hatred for Israel.
Despite the rhetoric from Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and the plethora of other nations and organizations seeking Israel's capitulation, Jesus's Holy Land will never be wiped off the map.
Here is why:
End Times Prophesy and the Promise of Almighty God, Jesus Christ
Israel is too important to the Lord, and to His certain-to-be-fulfilled end times prophesy, as described in the Holy Bible. Please understand that no prophesy in the Bible has gone unfilled, or will go unfilled.
End times prophesy is indeed undefeated. These crucial prophesies include:
The reestablishment of Israel as the Hebrew, Israelite, Jewish people's homeland
The triumphant return of Jesus Christ to Israel's Mount of Olives
The Battle of Armageddon, to be waged in the Valley of Jehoshaphat
The establishment of the everlasting kingdom of God at Mount Zion
The Reestablishment of Israel as the Jewish Homeland
In 1948, After decades in the making, the United Nations, the U.S. and other international communities recognized Israel as the reestablished, and ancient, Jewish homeland.
The reforming of Israel, taking place officially after the Holocaust, fulfilled several prophesies, including Amos 9:14-15:
"I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God."
Many experts also equate the "Valley of Dry Bones" prophesy, found in Ezekiel 37, with the Holocaust and Israel's return from the dead.
Return of Jesus Christ to the Mount of Olives
The Bible foretells that when Jesus returns to earth, to conquer the world's unified armies against Israel at the Battle of Armageddon, that He will first plant his feet on the Mount of Olives that is located just outside of Old Jerusalem’s East Gate. (Zechariah 14:4, 9, 16-21)
So, according to the Holy Scriptures, the nation of Israel is guaranteed to be here when Christ returns. And when He returns, it will be forever.

Battle of Armageddon
The Battle of Armageddon, the final conflict of the government of man era, is prophesied to take place in and around the land of Israel, centered in the Kidron Valley aka the Valley of Decision and the Valley of Jehoshaphat, that is situated just outside Old Jerusalem’s eastern wall - between it and the Mount of Olives.

This legendary Valley also separates the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives, and is where the Book of Joel reveals that Jesus will assemble all nations for battle. (Joel 3:2-12)
The Kingdom of God, Holy Mount Zion
Several passages and prophesies in the Holy Bible proclaim and predict that Almighty God, Jesus Christ the Lord, will reign from Mount Zion - the highest point in Jerusalem.

Infeed, the world will come to pay homage to the Lord there:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it." (Isaiah 2:2)
"The moon will be confounded and the sun will be ashamed; for the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before His elders with great glory." (Isaiah 24:23)
"Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King." (Psalm 48:2)
Conclusion
Israel has been invaded and had its people taken away captive to Babylon, been occupied by the Greeks under Alexander the Great and the Roman Empire destroyed the city's Holy Temple in AD 70. Plus, the Israelites were exiled from the Holy Land, in what is called the Jewish diaspora.
Now, Israel is under attack by Hamas, a terrorist organization-designate - according the U.S. and others.
Yet, Jerusalem has remained, and will always remain, according to the never-failing prophesies found in the Holy Word of God.
Long live the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Really enjoyed the article and relating it to my visit to the Holy Land and beyond. My wallpaper on my computer is a picture of me standing on the Mount of Olives. I’ve been reminiscing about my trip to the Holy Land and all that I witnessed brought the Bible to life.
