How fellowship can make you

Fellowship with false teachers can break your connection with the Light of God Almighty

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." (Ephesians 5:11)

"The night is almost over, and the day is near. Let's therefore put aside the actions of darkness and put on the armor of light." (Romans 13:12)

Christian fellowship can be beneficial for believers because being at church often hits harder than watching online by yourself. If you are incapacitated and cannot make it to church then ask the pastor for a personal visit. He could pay you a visit or send a group of volunteers or staff members to fellowship with you.

Do not be above asking for some of the believers' telephone numbers in order to fellowship with them. Attend functions for fellowship either at your church or elsewhere.

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)

The importance of fellowship cannot be overstated. It can help you mentally and physically, but most of all...spiritually.

This is what the Holy Bible says about Christian fellowship:

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." (Acts 2:42)

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)

"That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." (1 John 1:3)

"If we say that we have have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:" (1 John 1:6)

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)

Some people take themselves out of fellowship, out of the church because they have negative views of today's church.

If you are one of those people who believe that most Christians, today, are either false prophets, prosperity preachers, disingenuous or otherwise exalting themselves against the knowledge of God, then perhaps you have been watching too many TV evangelists.

You may have needlessly forced isolation on yourself, seeing the TV preachers. But, if you have, then do not worry because the Lord knows what His children need before we do: He will guide you back into much-needed fellowship.

He will lead you to a church that you need to get you back on the right track. He will keep your feet from falling off the trampoline of travail and tribulation.

When you step foot in a fellowshipping Christian church, then you will begin to understand that many real Christians live outside of the TV.

Real Christians have issues like you, think about the Lord like you, need Jesus like you, pray to Jesus by getting down on their knees, pleading the blood, rebuking the enemy, casting out anxiety, fear, doubt and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God: just like you.

You will find yourself saying, "Look at all of these real Christians."

You will see that they worship Jesus and love Jesus like you. They also want to be around Christians like you.

You realize that the weapon of our warfare, the Holy Spirit, seems to thrush with more fire where more than one Christian is gathered.

There in person, instead of isolated at home listening and watching church services, you can congratulate new Christians who, that day, decided to worship Jesus Christ, and cane forward after the pastor's invitation to the altar.

You can pray alongside fellow Christians at the altar of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can talk with people who have experienced miracles in their lives.

For instance, I spoke with young parents whose baby was given 9 days to live. After 9 months, the doctors informed the parents that something the very experienced medical staff had never seen before happened.

The baby's heart "healed itself." You and I know that a heart cannot heal itself. It was the miracle performed by Christ Jesus that healed the baby.

When He raised the young woman from the dead, and was mocked and laughed to scorn before He did so, it serves as an example that sometimes miracles happen when the mockers and doubters are not involved.

Get in fellowship, today, with other Christians and get involved in the healing power of the Gospel in person.

Get there by bus, plane or train. Just get there and fellowship.
