This is the the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
Are you able to smile during your bad days? If so, then perhaps you understand what true rejoicing in Jesus is.
True rejoicing in the Lord is right now.
It is a Christian's day and night celebration of Jesus Christ, of what He has helped us to overcome, of how he has blessed you.
To make sure you rejoice in the Lord, it helps to have a one day a time approach to life.
The Lord clearly approves of this approach.
The Holy Bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow:
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." (Matthew 6:34)
The Bible also teaches us not to boast about tomorrow:
"Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1)
Rejoicing in Jah is being happy, joyful, glad with great delight in the Lord, no matter what has happened in the past.
Christians rejoice, one day at a time, as the Lord provides our daily bread, in spite of sorrow and pain.
Rejoicing on a daily baises does not mean your life will be free from discomfort.
Jesus did not tell us it would be a vacation every day on the beach. It won't be easy.
That's why you have to be strong and rejoice in the Lord.
Do not brag about tommorow. We do not know what tomorrow holds, but we know who holds tomorrow.
Do not fret about tomorrow, God is already there.
Instead of boasting or fretting, thank the Lord for making it through each day. Find someting, even if you have to go deep within your inner strength, to be happy about, to thank God about, to rejoice about.
Celebrate the fact that the Lord answered your prayers and got you through the daily grind.
Christian fellowship can help our rejoicing. Seeing fellow Christians, people who on the outside may not appear to be Christians, can comfort us.
Walk in the rhythm of the ways of God, together. The steady beat that He produced for us to enjoy, together.
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:19)
We watch the happenings in the world, anticipating His return. Praying for His return. Together.
Despite those who taunt us with "Your Lord delays His return," we know that He will return. We cannot be caught lacking. We must remain sober, vigilant and in harmony with the Holy Spirit, together.
We do that through constant fellowship.
We live our lives one day at a time, no matter what the circumstance, rejoicing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rejoice!!! Focus on Today!!! Encouraging words offered.
