Jesus, or an LSD-stoned hippy?

This idolatrous image and likeness shown above looks more like a 1960s "hippy," who is stoned on the then mega popular drug LSD, rather than accurately depicting Jesus Christ.

LSD is a hallucinogen.

The delusional man who posed for the image did a good job. So did the demonic artist who created it. That's the pagan thing about it. The likeness is a man-made creation.

God Almighty is an uncreated spirit who created man: not the other way around. (Genesis 5:2, John 4:24, Psalm 90:2)

The Lord is a "jealous" God. He does not want the human family worshiping other gods, depicting Him or other lowercase "g" gods in films, sculptures, portraits, statuettes or crucifixes: unless He expressly gives permission. (See Exodus 35:30-35)

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God." (Exodus 20:4-5)

Mankind, along with fallen angels representing God's most disobedient creatures, disregard the commandments of God daily.

The Lord's animals obey the Creation's commands. Humans are infamously known for disobeying God and ushering in original sin: Via Eve and Adam, who were tricked by Satan.

The sun does not perform any magic tricks when it rises from the east and sets in the west. The moon gives its light by night. Stars shine.

The wind blows, seeds grow into flowers, herbs and fruit-bearing trees. The oceanic waters stop at the shoreline or melt into seas.

Eagles and hawks spread their wings and fly, vultures get rid of rotting flesh, bees produce honey, lions hunt in packs.

Mankind, leaders of the pack, remains the only creature refusing to perfectly follow God's commandments.

Cecile B. DeMille's 1927 film, "The King of Kings," featured an idolatrous likeness of Jesus and still commands fans' attention.

It was the first film to premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.

Thousands of riotous fans crowded Hollywood Boulevard to see movie stars, their idols, and other celebrities arriving for the premier.

The 1956 film "The Ten Commandments" received many accolades, and it remains one of the most financially rewarding and greatly praised films ever made.

The 1973 film "Jesus Christ Superstar" portrays Jesus as a hippy-like character.

These and other movies exemplify how executive financiers, producers, directors and actors perpetuate the potentially idolatrous likeness and image of God Almighty in movies and TV shows.

"And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man." (Romans 1:23)

All insurrections against God, in the form of worshiping graven images, originated with the devil. (Leviticus 17:7, Matthew 4:9)

The Israelites stirred the Lord "to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. they sacrificed unto devils, not to God, to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not." (Deuteronomy 32:16-17)

In a disastrous attempt to overthrow God, the fallen angel Lucifer led 33% of heaven's angels in a revolution.

"The prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience." (Ephesians 2:2)

But the 33% never got close to even sniffing a war with God because Michael, an archangel who led an army of obedient angels, crushed the "red dragon's" rebellion. Satan and his angels were evicted from heaven. (Revelation 12)

This will also be the eternal fate for those who are disobeying the commandments of God when Jesus returns to judge the world. He will reward everyone according to their works.

Artworks of God are at the top of the do not do graven images or likenesses list.

The above idol of Black Jesus is just as gross of a violation in disobedience as the blue-eyed European and Roman Catholic version.

God is neither Asian, Black, brown, white, yellow or spotted like a leopard.

God is, one again, a spirit.

Christ was God's body. The issue of skin color is of no concern to anyone in the Holy Scriptures.

No one in the Christ's era mentioned Jesus' skin color. No one alive today knows what Jesus looked like in the flesh.

The high priest's officers, who came to arrest Jesus, in the Garden of Gethsemane, did not even recognize Him. (Matthew 26:47-56, Mark 14:43-52, Luke 22:47-53, John 18:1-14)

So, how are ministers, churchgoers, filmmakers, actors, artists, painters and models able to know what He looks like? In no way possible are we.

He was not recognizable, after the Resurrection, to His disciples.

The Scriptures do not even relate anything close to Jesus having a beard, goatee, mustache or even long hair.

The Bible does reveal that it is a shame for man to have long hair.

"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering." (1 Corinthians 11:14-15)

The conclusion is that the depictions of Jesus with long hair is either done through ignorance of the Scriptures, in mockery and scorn or all of the above.

The idolatrous images and likeness have been set for so long now that the theory of ignorance of the Scriptures should be refuted.

The following physical description of Jesus the Messiah came from the prophet Isaiah:

"He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him." (Isaiah 53:2)

The idolatrous European version of Jesus might have been produced for "white supremacy" agendas.

Pastor and Apostle Gino Jennings, of the Truth of God Broadcast network, has stated that slave masters used the image of the white Jesus to portray themselves as "that master that the Bible was talking about." (Ephesians 6:5, Colossians 3:22,

Pastor Jennings declared that the verses encouraging "servants to obey your masters" were used to keep slaves from rebelling, feeling inferior and accepting of being unpaid workers relying on Jesus' reward at the Final Judgment.

Jennings emphasized that we neither know nor care what skin color Jesus walked in, and that leveraging skin color, along with a white supremacist agenda, must be exposed and ceased.

"To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.

"He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

"Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth."

Let us cease from adoring images and likenesses of Christ. Obey His commandments, believe in the Gospel, be baptized, humble ourselves and watch for the signs of His return.
