"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread" (Psalms 37L25, King James Version).
Righteousness is defined as "doing, or according with that which is right; yielding to all their due; just; equitable; especially, free from wrong, guilt, or sin; holy."
Similar to righteousness is integrity: steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
The Lord imputed righteousness to us, forgives our sins and justified us by faith in Him. It is not that we are perfect, sinless children of God. I sin all the day long but my sins are forgiven to the point that no one can bring charges against me to Him.
No worries. Make it your goal to live a worry-free life. Weary and heavy laden? Go to Jesus and He will give you rest. Unbelievers are worry warts.
Beloved we cannot expect to be pampered by the Lord every day of our lives. The Father will sometimes purify us by bringing hardships, trials, tests, so that we can learn to count it all joy to be mature children of God.
All things work together for the good, for those who love the Lord.
Sometimes we let the Devil get us down, discouraged and weak in faith, often through our own destructive actions and choices.
Have you been in a situation where your heart is trembling, you are out of your usual mind and you panic, thinking your daily needs will not be met in Jesus?
Even lifelong Christians fall into this trap sometimes, being tormented by worry about the future, for example. "What will happen if I lose this job?" "What if my car breaks down," What if this happens, that happens...
What if we forget to trust in God for whatever we need? We are sometimes tormented by worry but whatever causes us to worry does not include Jesus. You forget about Jesus, but he will be there always.
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19, KJV).
He knows what you need: food to eat, clothes to wear, shelter, transportation, loving kindness, mercy and grace. The right job, the right person to do something for you, someone to talk to at the right moment, a family when you have none, a friend, a wife, a husband.
Whatever you need, the Lord will supply to you. Be faithful. Don't worry about tomorrow, focus on today. All of your needs will be supplied going forward.
I have experienced miracle-like answers to prayers, even if it came down to the last moment. Did I give up on having faith in God? No. I stayed steadfast, unmovable, abiding in the work of the Lord and He rewarded me.
Nothing can divide me from the love of God beloved. Let nothing separate you.
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?...For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:35, 38-39.
We the Elect know that we will never be forsaken or see our seed begging for bread. Stop worrying as long as you are walking in rhythm with Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer.
