Peace, Love And Soul: The Gospel Of Peace Concisely Explained

The Gospel of peace is part of the "armor of God" ensemble that Paul exhorted Christians to put on, as described in Ephesians chapter 6.

The "Gospel of Peace" refers to the "good news," aka the "Gospel" of christ shedding his blood, being crucified as a one-time sacrifice for the remission of sins, to the appeasement of God the Father.

Mankind now has peace with God through Christ: forgiveness of our sins which leads to eternal life for whosever believes in Jesus.

The faithful are not at conflict with God in breaking the often unatainalbe laws given to Moses: which leads to the death that Adam and Eve brought unto humanity with their Original Sin.

For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

The Gospel of Peace is Jesus resurrected, risen from the dead, and His offering of the gift of eternal life to whosoever believes in Him.

It is the precious blood of Christ, the Lamb of God, that can peacefully reconcile God's original chosen people, Hebrew Israelite Jews, and non-jews, into a new, unified chosen people, the elect of God through Christ Jesus.

Christians and Messianic Jews, who are selected to demonstrate to the world how to worship the one true God (Christ Jesus).

Whereas, only the people who worshipped the God of the children of Israel, epitomized by the laws of Moses, including eating and drinking rules, had the covenants of promise, while others had no hope in salvation or peace with God.

Now, through the Gospel of Peace, non-Jewish people, aka Gentiles or those who are not living under the laws given to Moses, also have the promised covenants given to Moses, Abraham, King David: hope, peace with God and salvation through Jesus.

Christ is known as the Prince of Peace, even though He said, "I am not come to bring peace, but a sword."

For he is our peace, who made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us...that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby. For trough Him we both have access by one Spirit unto God the Father. (Ephesians 2:14-18)

We are now united, Jews and Gentiles, Jews and Christians, by faith in the Son of God. Now, we have the Holy Trinity: God the Father, His only begotten Son, Jesus, plus the Holy Spirit.

Now therefore we are not strangers and foreigners, anymore, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God. We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. (Ephesians 2:19-20)

Like Peter, preaching the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, told the Gentiles at the Italian centurion named Cornelius' house in Caesarea:

"God is no respecter of persons. But in every nation he that fears Him, and works righteousness, is accepted with Him. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all:). Jesus published that word throughout all Judaism, Judaea, beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached." (Acts 10:34-43)

He has sent this message to the people of Israel, proclaiming the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

His Disciples and apostles, blessed with the fire of the Holy Spirit, oftened opened their sermons and letters with "Peace be unto you."

Doves symbolize the Holy Spirit that descended on Jesus Christ, after He was baptized in the River Jordan by John the Baptist.

The presence of the Holy Spirit brings peace in the form of the inner peace, Comforter characteristic of the Holy Ghost.

Another asppect to the Christian concept of peace is the unification of Jewish people and Christians by faith in God the Father, the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

This is known as the Gospel of Peace.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
