"And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald." (Revelation 4:3)

Messianic Jews, Christians and members of other faiths have joined forces to reclaim the rainbow symbol from what they insist is an immoral and untruthful hijacking by the LGBT community.

The rainbow around the throne that John was instructed by the Lord to write about in the Book of Revelation represents God's covenant with mankind.

Do you know what the covenant of the rainbow is?

It has nothing to do with the liberal LGBTQ community which has been accused by Christians, Messianic Jews, orthodox Jews, Muslims and other conservative adherents of using the Lord's rainbow for an anti-Christian agenda.

The covenant of the rainbow is a pact made by Almighty God with the human family led by Noah who built the ark, whereby the Lord promised never to destroy the earth again by flood.

The rainbow is the sign of that covenant as read in the Book of Genesis (9:11, 13).

"And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood, neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

"I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth."

International televangelist and Messianic Jewish Rabbi Kirt Schneider who hosts the program Discovering the Jewish Jesus launched a movement to "take back the rainbow:" a project that many believers first began taking notice of last year.

No stranger to criticism and controversy from Jews in Israel because of his belief in Jesus as the Messiah, Schneider was raised in a 90-95% Jewish community named Beachwood that is situated about 10 miles from downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

He had his Bar mitzvah at 13-years-old: the age when diverse Jews accept responsibility for obeying the commandments found in the Old Testament.

Schneider claims that most Jewish people today are secular.

" Judaism is not so much a religion as it is an identity, culture, and way of life. It’s like being Italian or Catholic for some people."

Rather, being Jewish nowadays is more of a cultural identity or a tradition more than a faith in the Lord God of ancient and present Israel who is described in the Holy Bible.

"Although they identify themselves with the culture, it doesn’t necessarily define their beliefs. With many Jewish people, it is very important to be identified with the Jewish culture, but it doesn’t necessarily define their belief in God."

More than just reclaiming a symbol, the Rabbi wants to unify "God's people to stand up for righteousness."

He highlights the biographies of "detransitioners" such as Chloe Cole and her friends who speak against the counseling of children to change their biological genders.

Cole is in favor of banning such counseling after as a 12-years-old deciding she was a boy.

She told Schneider during an interview that she transitioned to a male throughout her teen years, starting medicalization including puberty suppressants, testosterone and had breast surgery as a 15-year-old.

She realized that she was mistaking a huge mistake because she wanted to become a mother.

She also said that 20 states had now passed laws to ban the type of treatment she endured

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. God's earth is rainbow country.

He destroyed the earth by flood, because the people He created had gone so wicked that it behooved the Lord to start with new creations.

God never makes mistakes. He gives us the free will to chose the proper paths in life, and when we choose the wrong paths, then He will chastise us like a loving parent. He'll set us back on the right path like the Good Shepherd does wayward sheep.

He made it rain on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights.

Modern cities such as San Antonio and Houston often flood in certain areas mere minutes after receiving torrential rain. Downpours like the days of Noah in would cause a catastrophe beyond measure.

The Lord knows this.

Hence, the covenant of the rainbow.

Praise Jehovah.

That does not mean that we are safe from His Final Judgment and can live life against His moral standards and commandments.

He created the human family as male and female from the dust of the ground. He has promised to relegate those who deny Him to the lake of fire burning with brimstone and fire.

If you are thinking about transitioning from a male to a female or a male to a female then don't do it.

Instead transition to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen! I’m a believer in the rainbow as God’s promise and covenant. It bothers me that the rainbow has been abused for other meaning. “Take back the rainbow.”
