The US has already provided Jerusalem with critical military benefaction in the 2023 Israel-Hamas war. This includes restocking weapons, acknowledging Israel's right to defend its ancient Hebrew Jewish Biblical homeland, plus showing might to the "land flowing with milk and honey"adversaries.

On October 8, one day after the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas launched a sneak attack against Israel, the US sent the world's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, to Israeli waters.

Also, U.S. Generals reportedly helped Israel's Defense Force plan its ground invasion of Gaza, called Operation Sword of Iron, by offering advice on fighting urban guerilla warfare.

Bordering Israel's south, Gaza-based Hamas did not expect such a response from the US, according to senior Hamas political leadership member Ali Barakeh.

"An Israeli response? Yes, we expected that. But what we're seeing now is the entrance of the US into the battle, and this we didn't count on," he told Financial Times, a UK news outlet.

Days into the war, a second US aircraft carrier arrived in the region, along with fighter jets and ammunition.

Iran, a Shiite Muslim nation which funds Hamas, Lebanon's Hezbollah and Yemen's Houthis in the surrounding areas, has monitored support for Israel and threatened that America would be attacked unless the Jewish state stops attacking Gaza.

There have been several attacks on US military bases in the region, since the war started.

In October, the US shot down projectiles over the Biblical Red Sea, a critical shipping corridor. Those missiles and drones were suspected to be launched by the Houthis, as a cover for Iran's responsibility.

Israeli officials have emphasized that American troops have not, as of today, been involved in actual combat. That Israel can choose to accept or reject American advice.

Who is to say that American Special Forces have not, secretly, been involved in combat? Not me.

I find it hard to believe that America's military would sit back and allow its infrastructure and personnel to be attacked, without responding.

Christians have responded to US involvement in the war by expressing that it is an early sign of WWIII, possibly leading to Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ.
