To get motivated to consistently spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, think of it like this: Jesus sacrificed His life to save His children. The ultimate sacrifice of a Father for His kids.
We are children of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:26).
Let your gratitude from deep within your soul motivate you to spread the Gospel's good news all over the world. Be grateful that the crucifixion and resurrection really happened in world history.
Almighty God humbled Himself, came into the world in the form of a man, allowed Himself to be humiliated, smacked, spit on, scorned, mocked and ultimately murdered by His own creations who He loved.
Imagine being born a King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Almighty God made flesh, only to be rejected by your chosen people, lynched and crucified by the people you came in to the world to die for, to save them from the wages of sin which is eternal death.
You gifted them eternal life and all they had to do was believe in you. But instead they tortured you to death.
They forced you to carry a heavy, wood cross after tearing your skin to shreds with a scourge or whip designed to inflict severe corporal punishment and make your blood run until you could barely stand, much less walk to your own crucifixion.
Finally, they nailed your hands and feet to that same cross and refused to let the inscription "King of the Jews" to be placed near you.
Yet you rose up from the dead!
The tomb could not hold you, oh risen conqueror of death. What good news is the Gospel: the ultimate sacrifice of a parent for His children - you and I beloved.
Long live the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
