This Man Is History's King of All Kings

Christ Jesus is King of all Kings past, present and future.

As the Son of God, the Word of God made flesh, King of the Jews, baby Jesus was born in Bethlehem to a Jewish virgin named Mary. Wise men arrived offering gifts to honor, worship and praise the new born king. (John 1:14; Matthew 2:2)

The book of Isaiah foretold of Jesus's birth.

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel (meaning 'God with us')." (Isaiah 7:14)

Also from Isaiah:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the Increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah 9:6-7)

His earthly dad, a man named Joseph, moved Mary and Jesus to Egypt after the Lord instructed him to do so.

Herod the tetrarch ordered the slaughter of every toddler two-years-old and younger after learning that the prophesied Messiah had been born.

Jesus was a child prodigy raised in Africa whose wisdom amazed the elite religious scholars and priests.

A carpenter by trade, as an adult He served His earthly ministry by preaching, teaching, healing and eventually laying down His own life as a one-time sacrifice to take away the sins of the world. (John 3:16)

He was crucified, died, was buried and arose from the dead after three days without His body suffering any deterioration.

Things happened exactly the way Jesus said they would.

After His resurrection, He showed Himself alive to hundreds of witnesses including His 11 remaining disciples.

He eventually ascended into heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to anoint us with boldness, confidence, remembrance of His teachings, with comfort, energy, faith and renewed strength.

He is alive forever more and will return to establish the Kingdom of God that will never be overthrown.

Long live His Majesty and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Share it. Save lives.

His believers will live with Him forever because of His gift of eternal life. That is the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Learn more about the Lord by studying, fellowshipping with true Christians and praying to Christ Jesus continuously.

Ask Christ to come into your life.

Then live the way He has prescribed.

He will never forsake you.
