Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? (Proverbs 20:6)
Ladies are you looking for love in all the wrong places?
Online dating sites, night clubs, bars, the local VFW?
Christian men like myself wake up in the mornings with our minds faithfully stayed on Jesus first and foremost. In the middle of the day, our minds are stayed on Jesus. At night we stay on Jesus.
Whether it be Genesis, Kings, Revelation or Proverbs.
Ladies you can learn a lot from Proverbs 31. Some of the most successful Christian wives refer to themselves as Proverbs 31 women.
Here are some of their recommended methods for finding your helpmate:
[1] Fear the Lord
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised (Proverbs 31:30).
Nuff said. But there are a plethora of Holy Bile verses expounding on respecting or fearing the Lord.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, including how to build your family instead of tearing it down.
It is also an extremely powerful biological attraction for and to a true Christian man.
Whatever you do, respect the Lord first and foremost ladies.
Christian men seek such faithful women to love and to be loved.
[2] Reject the feminist movement
Rejecting the feminist movement comes with fearing the Lord.
I feel very comfortable in saying that, in general, feminists are Anti-Christians, atheists, pagans and maybe apostates who fell under the spell of the powers of darkness. There may be exceptions, of course, but by nature feminism is Anti-Christian.
In this day and age Christian family values are under attack and feminists are at the vanguard.
So ladies, take on the old school style of relationships and let the man take the lead. Sara called Abraham her lowercase lord while worshiping the Lord God Almighty.
Her husband was the unquestioned leader of the family - as was and is God's will.
This is number 2 on the list for a reason because feminism is toxic, and rejecting it is so important that only fearing God supersedes it on our list.
[3] Strengthen Your Man, Don't Emasculate Him
Ladies please do not bow to the temptation of trying to emasculate a man. Don't make him feel unneeded either. Nothing positive comes from those approaches.
Women, it is often not what you say, but how you say it.
Yelling is not wise, especially when a wise and strong Christian man, who reads Proverbs, is involved.
Don't allow yourself to even try to take away your man's psychological strength.
Why not instead strengthen him?
Strengthening your potential helpmate is conducive to strengthening yourself by conducting yourself with honor and weaker vessel qualities.
Just remember that God blew life into Adam (Genesis 2:7).
[4] Make Sure Your Man Can Trust You
Be a woman of your word. Don't ever lie on or to a Christian man. Liars and double-minded accusers are very unattractive, because those are the very qualities of the devil.
Proverbs 6:16-19:
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Christian men want women who practice steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
[5] Do Him Good and Not Evil All the Days of Your Life (Proverbs 31:12)
Always have your man or potential man's best interest at heart. In sickness, health, crisis, calm, peace, joy, depression and devastation. Pray for and with him.
Stick to the Lord's moral standards, and do not lean to your own understanding of how to treat a man.
Do not let your toxic, brawling negativity scare a man off. Keep a positive attitude.
Lonely people tend to stress that the Lord said to be alone is not good.
But He also said it is better to live in the wilderness or on a rooftop than in a house with a brawling woman.
