Who Feels It Knows It: Is Jesus Christ Still Performing Miracles?

Writer: Reginald SpannReginald Spann

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8)

Yes Jesus Christ is still performing miracles. Some people who profess to be highly-educated Christians, theologians do not believe He is performing miracles in the modern world.

Why am I so bold in saying that? How do I know? Because He is unchanging. If He performed miracles before, during and after His earthly ministry, then what makes you think He would stop now?

What Scripture, what verse, what proof do you have that the Lord stopped performing signs, wonders and miracles to save His people?

Even when He was chastising His sons and daughters, he delivered them with miracles. He delivers us with miracle because he loves us like God the Father who he is.

What Father would not save His son or daughter in desperate need of help, without them even asking for help? The Lord knows what we need before we even ask Him.

"Who feels it knows it Lord!"

That is a saying made popular by classic, wholesome reggae artists in describing a variety of situations, events and phenomenons. It is like the Jamaican saying that was popular, "irie."

Who feels it knows that the Lord is still performing miracles. Some high-ranking theologians want to use confusing semantics and teach people that miracles are not being performed in the "Strict sense"of the word.

Of course we do not believe in "miracle water" that you see being sold by a certain televangelist. We do believe that healers on TV are not above recruiting people to act out a healing that has no truth in it.

We don't believe a TV healer can restore an amputees limbs. We don't believe they can heal the blind. But we believe Jesus can.

All it takes is faith enough to believe that He can, and He will. Because He said so. He said that if we had enough faith, then we could move a mountain. He promised us the miracle of eternal life, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish live forever with Him in the Kingdom of God.

The wages of sin is death. The miraculous gift of God is what? Eternal life.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." (James 1:17, NKJV)

Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God. (Psalm 102:27, NKJV)

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8)

Believe in miracles beloved. We do.
