FLOAT ON: Some of the Holy Bible's catchiest verses that stick in your head like a song

Greetings beloved.

Today we thankfully present you with our collection of some of the Holy Bible's catchiest verses, arranged in chronological order from Genesis to Revelation.

Not necessarily because of their inspiring messages of hope, strength, growing in faith or trusting in God are these verses so catchy. And these are not necessarily the most popular verses but might be the ones that you cannot get out of your head - like a song melody.

It just so happens beloved that the Bible's melodious opening line is one of the most catchy in the Holy Scripture, perhaps because it tells us all we need to know about the world and everything in it.

In the Beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth. (Genesis 1:1)

That first line ensures that the beloved reader is in for a commanding story that takes us from the beginning of creation, everything in between to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, His resurrection, the spreading of Christianity and His return for Judgment Day and to establish the Kingdom of Heaven.

It is also one of the most controversial verses in the Bible because atheists, agnostics, Anti-Christians and general haters of anything God swear up and down that the universe was created by an explosion.

But The Good Book lets us know what really happened, according to G.O.D. - Commander of all Christians.

The 10 Commandments are some of the most quoted words in all creation. Here is the first one, perhaps the most known of the well-known instructions from God Himself, given to Moses:

I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other Gods before me. (Exodus 20:2-3)

That is God telling us what is, what it was and what it shall be.

Now let us continue to fill out our roster for this edition of some of the Bible's catchiest verses.

  • ... the Lord your God is a jealous god ... (Deut. 6:15)

  • ... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 24:15)

  • I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. (Psalms 37:5)

Thank God for bringing to life that last verse from King David the Psalmist

The next verse has been seen, heard and uttered countless times. And is one of the most famous sentences found in the Holy Bible.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

That one sentence serves as a concise, perfect summary of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For those struggling with the unperfect ways of the world, here is a verse for you:

... greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

The Lord is our strong confidence, our defender, helper and leader:

If God be with us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

If someone has done you wrong in your view, then please remember:

Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans 12:19)

Please continue to let His graciousness, mercy, peace and confidence-giving consume you as you fearlessly serve Him while enduring in the faith and going positively forward to the Day of the Lord.
