The Christian Commander examined the history of Angel Numbers and what the Holy Bible says we should know about those who teach that the numerals are bulletins from God's messengers.
Angel Numbers are repeating digits such as 111, 222, 3333 and 666: figures that are interpreted for life's meaning according to psychic charmers who leverage what the Bible calls familiar spirits.
The r&b group Tavares is famous for the hit song "Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel" about an enchanting girl whose love is so sublime that she must be one of God's messengers.
The problem is that angels are exclusively male in the Holy Bible and the only ones missing from heaven are fallen from grace because they followed Lucifer in the rebellion against their Creator.
The concept of Angel Numbers is traceable back to ancient occult civilizations including Egypt, Babylon and Greece that believed numerical signs came from spirit guides sent to secretly help humans.
The bible reads that humans may be unaware of our encounters with angels:
"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels." (Hebrews 13)
Nowhere in sacred Scripture is there a description of heavenly beings delivering numerical signs and wonders for guidance like number wizards say they do.
While the Holy Bible uses numerals such as the seven spirits of God, mystics use integers for psychic readings.
The terminology "Angel Numbers" comes from numerologists within the otherworldly New Age Movement whose diviners assign magic meanings to numerals.
A trained psychologist and seer turned born-again Christian named Doreen Virtue is often credited with popularizing Angel Numbers in modern times. She believed that if you see cyclic numerals frequently, whether on clocks, posters, license plates, bills or receipts then ethereal beings are delivering psychic messages to you. Consulting veiled documentation will then enlighten you to the dark meaning.
Here is an explanation from astrology.com:
"The presence of Angel Number 333 in your life suggests that you are aligned with the universe's energy and that you are on the right path. The number also represents abundance, growth, and expansion. The angels want you to know that you have their support, and you are divinely guided towards fulfilling your purpose."
Virtue wrote the following in 2008: "The angels say: 'We can't write our messages to you in the sky. You've got to pay attention and believe when you see any patterns forming in your life especially in response to any questions or prayers you've posed. When you hear the same song repeatedly or see the same number sequence, who do you think is behind this? Your angels, of course!'"Â
In the book of Revelation, John wrote by God Almighty's direction concerning the number 666:
"Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is Six hundred three score and six." (Revelation 13:18)
The Bible associates 666 with a worldly authority who is under Satan's spell. Anyone accepting the mark of the beast is doomed to eternal torment in hell.
The numerology handbook says this: "If you’re seeing 666 everywhere you go, there are a number of things your angels are trying to communicate. It’s important to listen intently and let your angels guide you in the best direction."Â
What this handbook does not say is that these angel spirit guides are not sent from the Lord. Here is what astrology.com says:
"According to numerology, the number 666 is a combination of the energies of the numbers 6 and 3. The number 6 represents balance, harmony, and stability in family and home life, while the number 3 is associated with creativity, self-expression, and the spiritual realm. Together, the number 666 symbolizes balance and stability within the spiritual realm."
"If you keep seeing the Angel Number 666 frequently, it is a sign that your angels are encouraging you to balance your material and spiritual life. Your focus may have been too heavily placed on one area, causing an imbalance in your life. Seeing this number is a reminder to maintain balance and harmony in all areas of your life."
Lucifer the devil and leader of the fallen angels fought a losing war against the Archangel Michael in heaven. Lucifer convinced 33% of the angels to follow him in the rebellion against God Almighty. (Revelation 12)
The angels which followed him were cast out from heaven and are now bound in chains while awaiting God's final judgment.
"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." (Jude 1:6)
Doreen Virtue taught her followers this lesson: "Your angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. They do this in two ways. First, they subtly whisper in your ear so you'll look up in time to notice the clock's time or a phone number on a billboard. The angels hope you'll be aware that you're seeing this same number sequence repeatedly."
In 2017 she denounced numerology, Angel Numbers and the NAM after reading Deuteronomy 18:9-12. She states that her works are still being cited and sold against her wishes.
The NAM is an esoteric organization that spread like wildfire throughout the cabalistic community in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Some members wrote, spoke and sang about the dawning of the age of Aquarius: a visionary promise for brotherhood, peace and awakening.
The Movement is rooted in the late 19-th century teachings of occultist Helena P. Blavatsky who helped found the Theosophical Society.
Blavatsky wrote and spoke about a coming new age of evolution for the human race led by Buddhism and Brahma. She instructed that a supernatural spirit group called Ascended Masters of the Great White Brotherhood were the world's hidden leaders directing planetary destiny.
Be not deceived. Angel Numbers are not from the Word of God. The devil masquerades as an angel of light and goodness:
"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14, NKJV)
Do not trust people who say they are "workers of the Light," dream interpreters, prophets and or apostles promoting ideology that is not biblical.
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." (2 Peter 1:20, KJV)
False prophets might reference Joel 2:28 and imply that something is wrong with you if you are not properly interpreting the hidden messages in dreams, visions and prophesies purportedly from God sent to you:
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." (Joel 2:28)
The Apostle Peter said that the above Scripture was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:16-21)

You must not, beloved, end up in Babylon's predicament:
"Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast labored from thy youth, if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail. Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee." (Isaiah 47:12-13)
Flee from any semblance of association with Angel Numbers.
