Israel's Ministry of Health recently released data that revealed not a single healthy person under age 50 had died of Covid-19 in Israel. The data was released in response to a freedom of information request from lawyer Ori Xabi, who has reportedly filed several such requests.
Many Christians, Jewish people and adherents to other faiths were punished and restricted from gathering for worship services during the COVID shutdown era. Vaccinations, social distancing, school closures, face masks and other measures for so-called protection against COVID were mandated in many municipalities around the world, with fines and even imprisonment imposed on some who did not obey the rules.
But there were “zero deceased of 18–49 years of age with no underlying morbidities,” Israel's MoH said in response to Xabi, who inquired about the number of COVID-19 patients under the age of 50 with no comorbidities that had died.
Critics of vaccination mandates, lock downs and what they call government overreach during the COVID panic were baffled.
“Why were all the extreme measures of school closures, vaccination of children, and lock downs needed?” asked internal medicine specialist Yoav Yehezkelli in response to the released data. He is described as a prominent critic of Israel’s Covid-19 policies.
“It was definitely a disease that actually only endangered the elderly,” Yehezkelli further stated. “That only means that what we were told for 3 years was not true. They created a false presentation of a very severe epidemic that affects the entire population and therefore the entire population should also be vaccinated, regardless of age,” said Yehezkelli.
There was significant enough interest in the zero deaths from COVID data coming out of Israel that Twitter owner Elon Musk himself chimed in with a reply of “Zero.”
In response to Mr. Musk, a reply from a verified social media account associated with Israel's Ministry of Health questioned what the data actually says:
“Elon, unfortunately this is not what the whole data shows. Fake news is dangerous. Israel's Ministry of Health was asked on chronic disease data and explained that we don’t have access to clinical records.”
“I personally submitted the request,” Xorbi retorted via written reply on social media. “That's exactly what the answer says. That there were zero deaths from COVID without background conditions under the age of 50. If there was a different number that was not zero, Israel's MOH would have shown it. They didn't.”
“Furthermore, even if there was such a number, then it is completely negligible and tends to zero. The bottom line is that MOH epidemiological research didn't yield even one case of death,” Xorbi continued.
“Zero is a very, very clear number, and cannot be subject to interpretation,” Yehezkelli was quoted as saying.
Xorbi also wrote that “In addition, even if there were people who died from COVID that didn't have background conditions, they were most likely vaccinated in close proximity, and as we all know, the vaccine has a lot of side effects, so how do we know they didn't die from the vaccine itself?”
Israel's Ministry of Health said that their statement only applies to COVID-19 deaths where the MOH conducted an epidemiological investigation and had received information about the underlying diseases.
Zero Hedge reported though that “It is not clear why the MOH responded to the Xabi request using only cases where the MOH had conducted an epidemiological investigation, and which was limited to deceased patients where the families had cooperated, since in 2020 the MOH told the Israeli Knesset—the Israeli parliament—that they use an intelligence system that provides the MOH with extensive information about deceased patients that included “underlying diseases.”
Several ministers, preachers and pastors were warned, fined, jailed or imprisoned - especially in Canada - for protesting or all together ignoring underlying laws, mandates and rules for vaccinations that they complained effectively curtailed their freedom of religion. The data coming out of Israel seems to validate their concerns.
