As Christians, whether in fellowship or alone, as we go through life's complexities, always remembering to put the Kingdom of God first, a good way to rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ is to remember to smile.
Put a smile on your face, every day. You don't have to force a smile. It can come naturally, in awhile, from muscle memory.
You can help your natural smile by learing to think on the good things of God.
What ever things be good, pure and of good report, of good news, think on those things. Reminisce on the things the Lord brought you through, the adversity He helped you overcome.
What about the things God has done for you?
Think about how he kept your feet from falling off the trampoline of life.
Live your life one day at a time, rejoice in the Lord and be glad because He answered your prayers, on His timeline, according to His will.
Didn't He provide your daily bread? Not only the physical sustenance that our bodies need, but the spiritual sustenance that we need.
Smile.
Let's break the word "Rejoice" down:
Joy = a feeling of great happiness. The feeling and expression of joy and gladness; procedure expressive of joy; festivity.
Re - Do it over and over again
Celebrate the Lord because He is the Lord, by expressing your feelings of great happiness over and over again.
In the entire complexity of Christian life, a smile can be a way, in general, to show your enemies, friends and family that you are confident in the promises of Almighty God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Because of He who takes away the sins of the world, "The Lamb of God," we are guaranteed eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. So, we should rejoice in His Spirit.
So rejoice in the Lord.
Many don't know how. Here are some more ways to do it:
Read The Bible
Having faith in God comes by hearing the Word of God. Make sure you stayed read up, prayed up and heard up on the Word.
Rejoice in the wisdom, the promises, the beautifully-written literature, more realistic and entralling than any other book that has ever existed.
Rejoice in the Book of Revelation. And smile.
Pray
After a prayer you can feel the Comforter, the inaudible voice of the Holy Spirit giving us the peace of mind, confidence and blessed assurance that can make us rejoice and smile.
Pray on bended knees if you can, as much as you can.
Be Patient In Tribulation By Meditating On The God Of Your Salvation
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. (Habakkuk 3:17-18)
Listen to some good music that reminds you to rejoice in the Lord. Even if the music is not Gospel, wholesome, enlightening, positive vibes music can help your mood and help you rejoice in the Lord.
Thank Him for your gifts and talents, and use them.
Oh yeah, and smile.
