Don't Give Up The Fight: For You Who Consider Suicide When the Rainbow Is Not Enough

"For colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf" is the title of a 1976 magnum opus by Ntozake Shange that chronicles seven oppressed women.

When the rainbow is enough then you get tough. Call on the name of the Lord.

If you are a Christian, Muslim, Jew or a pagan atheist who has been dogged by the devil to the point of contemplating suicide, then you are not alone.

Don't give up the fight.

I exhort you, please know that to glorify God is ample reason for everyone to live.

If you do not believe in Jesus as the one true God and the only way to heaven, then I must warn you that you are making a grave mistake in what some people refer to as their "journey through the universe."

Nature is the old word for the new pagan mantra: the universe.

Nature does not have your back, God Almighty does. You are headed down the highway to hell without Him in your life, according to the Holy Bible (Revelation 21:8).

If you are reading a lot of pagan self-help books while seeking something that your are not sure what it is then stop right now. Start reading and understanding the Bible instead of depending on "light worker" literature.

Pagan authors are either wittingly or unwittingly devilish in their nature's masquerade to appear like angels of God. (2 Corinthians 11:14)

All angels were created by God before Lucifer led 33% of them in rebellion. The obedient angels conquered and kicked them out of heaven. The disobedient beings are now chained in darkness awaiting Judgment Day. (Revelation 12, Jude 1:6)

Satan is still loose and hunting Christians and whosoever will join his league.

Godless writers love to mention His Majesty's loyal angels such as Michael, Raphael and Gabriel by name as if they're on the same team but do not be fooled. "Spirit guide" advocates and teachers are of the devil. (2 Corinthians 11:4)

Angels do not guide the human family. They are messengers from God. Pagan books put angels above God: the very reason Satan was cast out of heaven.

Don't give up!

The evil soldiers of Satan are here to target Christians and to deceive the world of nonbelievers. Look to the hills from where your help comes. (Psalm 121:1)

The Lord will fight for you if you remain strong and of good courage like He did with Joshua.

Take the shield of faith, wet it with the water of the Holy Spirit and quench the fiery darts flung from the wicked. Let the full impact of Baal's blows hit the shield while you stand behind God.

After you've done all to stand then what? Stand stronger ... and stronger ... and stronger in the infinite power of Lord Jesus' name.

He will renew your strength. (Isaiah 40:31)

Don't give up the scuffle. God's people are warriors. God Himself is a man of war. (Exodus 15:3, Rev. 19:11)

We are in a spiritual combat zone. Therefore put on the whole armor of God and skirmish because your life depends on it. (Ephesians 6:11-18)

As Paul said, "Don't be so soon shaken in mind or be troubled ... " (2 Thessalonians 2:2)

Satan relies on handily catching you when you're self-isolated, vulnerable, weak, hungry and seemingly defenseless.

The breastplate of Jesus' righteousness protecting your heart is a strong defense against the wiles of the devil. Fellowship with and mental support from true children of God helps.

Hit the Devil where it hurts: with bold unwavering confidence in Christ Jesus, with obedience, much prayer and with the 23rd Psalm.

Say it with me, "I will fear no evil." Say it loud: "I will fear no evil!" Louder: "I will fear no evil!!"

You can overcome any adversity, any bout with depression, melancholy or sadness. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

So say, "Get behind me Satan. With God's help I can quit smoking, drinking and partying."

Stop bossing God, obey Him, humble yourself, pray continuously and just holler out to Him, "Heeeeelp!"

The Lord our Savior Christ Jesus, will show up with the rushing mighty wind.

The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, He who walks across the midnight sky with comforting and consuming fire will give you blessed assurance and increase your faith to the point of zero tolerance for the hellion in your life.

Christians are sick of your wiles Lucifer O fallen star. All the while thinking you're slick is who you are.

Your act is old. We are too bold and too experienced to let you bring us down. Kicking you to the bricks. Oh tears and slew foot of a clown.

Say, "Get behind me Satan! With God's help I can quit doing drugs. I can quit gambling. I can stop showing my body through skimpy clothes. I can quit my paganism."

All in the name of Jesus: The name that makes the Mephistopheles' tremble, for they believe in the power of Jesus' name. (James 2:19)

Keep on calling on him Christians. Start calling on him ye pagans and nonbelievers.

The rogue angel is looking for some of us to devour. He cannot eat the high power of the Holy Spirit. Don't let him devour you with his intimidation and fear.

The devil got into Judas Iscariot who betrayed God. The former disciple did not fight the good fight of faith unlike Paul's trod. (2 Timothy 4:7)

Judas' arms were too short to box with Beelzebub or God.

Black eye, busted lip and all. Bob, weave, right cross, left cross until the archfiend spirits crawl.

Bounce back off the ropes. Quit smoking dope.

When the rainbow is enough then you get tough. Call on the name of the Lord.

"Jesus. Jesus. Jesus!"
